Lemon Crusted Black Pepper Chicken

This was so good!

Quick and easy to make!



Lemon Crusted Black Pepper Chicken Thighs


Ingredients:

4-6 chicken thighs. I use bone in however you can use boneless.

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 1/2 TBLS Mrs Dash Lemon Black Pepper Seasoning

Salt (to taste. I use just a little pinch)

1 TBLS Parsley (fresh or dry is fine)

1/2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes

1/2 Tsp garlic powder

The juice of one lemon.


One medium sweet onion

One lemon


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.


Combine all ingredients listed above (minus the onion and whole

lemon) in a bowl or ziploc bag and place the chicken thighs in the mixture.

I allowed the chicken thighs to marinate for 1 hour in the fridge however you could do longer.


Place Chicken in an oven safe baking dish or cast iron pan and pour the remaining marinade on top of the chicken. Slice the onion and lay around the chicken thighs as well as a few lemon slices.

Cover with foil and

place in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees.

Uncover the pan and let cook an additional 12 minutes.


Chicken should temp at 165 degreees minimum for a full cook however for bone in thighs I reccomend 175-190 degrees. This will give you more tender meat because the connective tissues has longer to break down.
